Downtown Photography Workshop
What I’m proposing is a day out in downtown Ottawa this coming March. Saturday March the 6th to be exact and will run from 9 am till 5 pm.
The cost will be $25.00 per person and payment will be required before the workshop date.
The put some of you at ease, the day out won’t be about walking long distances in the cold of winter but I strongly suggest that you be dressed warmly. As needed, we will pop into places here and there to warm up and maybe have a coffee or tea.
The day itself will be about covering some of the basics of photography, camera use, composition and lighting. My goal is to hopefully build a certain level of confidence in you that I hope will make your enjoyment of photography just that much more pleasant.
I will be there to answer questions, provide support and show you a few tips and tricks that might come in handy. I will also be there to answer questions before and after the workshop, through emails, phone calls and articles and discussions on my blog. In order to provide a better overall experience to everyone, there will be a limit on the number of people admitted to this workshop. 8 to 10 places will be available.
What you need to bring
Ideally I would like to see digital slrs and film cameras that have the ability to be used in the “Manual” mode. It is ok however if you simply want to use your cellphone. The fact that you want to learn about photography is enough to keep me happy. A small notepad and pen would also be good but proper dress and attendance remains my prority.
This workshop is about having fun too and interacting with others that have the same interest. Maybe from there friendships will grow. Who knows?

To start off, I suggest that you fill out the application form below. After it is received, I will email you back as soon as I can with a confirmation and provide you with your payment options. This posting will be updated regularly in order to keep everyone in the loop.
Credit cards are acceptable through my Paypal account. Other types of acceptable payment are certified cheques, bank drafts and money orders.
